The task of the project was to make a strong identity for a real EDM opera. The identity should be impressive and modern to match the trends of the new music culture.
To find the perfect reference, we turned to the past and found the Rolling Stone logo. To find the perfect reference, we looked to the past and found the Rolling Stone logo. One that has come to symbolize the music culture of the century.
We build on this by giving the logo a strong geometry and symmetry. Which show the new cultural wave and at the same time are connected to the past.
To enhance the feeling of modernity, we used Swiss typography with lowercase letters layered on top of each other. We also used the red lanterns of industrial plants as the main color.
During the lockdown, the main way we communicated with our audience was Instagram. For them, we focused on developing more digital content.
For example, Dj Highlights, which contain the main music style and examples of tracks. This solution allows you to listen to the DJ's tracks and thus get a feel for his vibe.
I also converted a poster into an animated format that can easily be added to a custom story or reels. In the week before the event, we saw this poster on every second smartphone in the city.
In addition to engaging with the audience, brand identity is also a great solution to the problem of how different team members interact with each other.
As a result, an entire graphic structure was designed that gave people the opportunity to experience electronic music and have an unforgettable rave.
