Design a cross-platform productivity platform (“Weekdays”) that unifies task management, scheduling, and daily reflection into one calm, easy-to-navigate workspace for web and mobile. Deliver a scalable UI system that supports priorities, statuses, deadlines, collaboration, and future feature growth.
Professionals often manage planning across multiple tools (to-dos, calendars, notes, messengers), which creates:
• Fragmented workflows and constant context switching
• Poor visibility of priorities, deadlines, and progress
• Overwhelming, “busy” interfaces that reduce focus rather than improve it
• Inconsistent experiences between desktop and mobile, causing friction when switching devices
• Unified workspace architecture: Tasks, calendar, notes, and comments designed as connected layers of one system (list → detail → schedule), reducing navigation overhead.
• Smart task model: Clear states (To Do / In Progress / Completed), priority tags, due indicators (“days left”), progress/time tracking, plus attachments and comment threads inside the task detail.
• Scheduling-first UI: Calendar views (daily/weekly) paired with actionable task items, enabling planning and execution in the same flow.
• Calm, scalable visual language: Rounded components, soft shadows, generous spacing, and light pastel accents to differentiate priority without adding noise.
• Cross-platform consistency: Shared layout logic, component patterns, and hierarchy rules to ensure seamless transitions between desktop and mobile.
• A clean, approachable SaaS interface that keeps users focused on “what matters now” (priority + next action) without visual overload.
• A consistent web + mobile experience with predictable navigation patterns (overview → task detail → collaboration/schedule), reducing friction across devices.
• A scalable UI foundation ready for expansion (more task types, teams, analytics, integrations) while maintaining accessibility and clarity.
